Butler County Area Vocational Technical School

Roth Marz Partnership designed a $9.3 million addition and alteration project for the Butler County Area Vocational Technical School. This project consisted of new housing for Heavy Equipment Machinery, Building Construction, Cosmetology and Culinary Arts departments. The remaining shops and departments (including graphic arts, computer networking and telecommunications, advertising design, visual communication and sculpting) were renovated and brought up to today's standards and codes. The existing school buildings were re-roofed. In addition to the new Culinary Arts Bakery Department, a dining room addition was built to avail seating for lunches that are prepared and served through the Culinary Program. Incorporated in the plan was a new Welding Program to the school's curriculum.
